Try it

Open it from All modules, on the New element card while you edit the layout: the overview is edited in one place, Edit layout, and the sidebar only navigates. Switch a module on and close the sheet: the module goes to the foot of the shortest column and the overview scrolls to it. Save layout keeps the choice; Reset to default goes back to the last saved one.

Anatomy

• Header: “All modules”, one line on what it does, and ×.
• Basic set: Orders + Inventory + Shipments, one switch for the three.
• Modules: “6 of 11 on” in green, then a switch per module in two columns: the six cards of the default overview and the five optional cards.
• Predefined layouts: a field with the role’s layout, Save layout, and Reset to default.

Behavior

• It is not modal: the top bar stays usable. Escape, × or a click on the scrim close it.
• On tablets it hangs from the top bar the same way; on phones the modules are switched in Edit, in the bottom bar.
• The switches apply at once, so the overview behind the scrim already shows the change.

Accessibility

• The sheet is a dialog named by its title and described by its first line; focus moves into it and back to where it was when it closes.
• Each module is a switch labeled with the module’s name, so “Invoices, switch, off” is read as one control.
